We got donuts!!
Our Pastry Chef Kimberly Mayer, chief wizardess of the finest sweets & treats around, is once again at the dessert helm here at James Pharmacy— and this time she’s making housemade donuts!! Every Sunday for our infamous Sunday Brunch, you can find her fresh donuts and fritters on the menu, with flavors that rotate each week with the seasons.
We really don’t know how she does the things she does around here, but we suspect elves. Or maybe Oompa Loompas. Either way, it makes total sense when you think about it— dessert can’t taste this good without some serious dark magic at work, right?
Come fall, look out for her annual Holiday Pies menu, available for pre-order for both the Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays. I don’t know about you, but our families have basically disinvited us from coming to holiday gatherings unless we’ve pre-arranged to bring Kim’s pies. One of our employees forgot to order a Christmas pie on time once, and well, we don’t talk about that day anymore….
And on the menu every single day, there’s usually a representative from each major food group: pies, cakes, chocolate and chocolate. Plus whatever else this lady can dream up or conjure from flour, sugar & eggs, which trust us is A LOT. And like we’ve all learned to do from tough on-the-job experience, you’ll want to show up around here with your mouth standing at attention and spoon in hand. Preparation is key.
